I apologize for all the formalities and seriousness but sometimes it is necessary to protect myself and the brand / business that I am creating.  I sincerely appreciate everyone's support as my business continues to grow and develop.  

Payment of fees for high resolution images on CD in NO way provides the customer with ownership of the end product. The resulting photographs belong entirely to Liisa Roberts Photography, regardless of who pays the expenses, regardless of any creative advice or direction given during production.  Liisa Roberts Photography owns the image outright --- for creator's life plus 70 years, UNLESS:

1. Both Liisa Roberts Photography and the client sign a written agreement transferring copyright ownership to client. OR
2. Liisa Roberts Photography signs a valid "Work Made For Hire" purchase order or other contract (note: under copyright law, the "work-made-for-hire" terms included in such agreements may be invalid)

Reproduction is limited to prints for personal use, small personal projects and display.  Images may NOT be altered other than cropping.  If you would like your images processed in an alternative manner additional charges will apply.

At no time during our transaction with or without a signed agreement have I "Transferred Copyrights" to my clients that allow edits other than cropping to be made.  

Please take time to review your agreements regarding Copyright Law and my Reproduction Rights. 

As the creator/artist, I have a vision for my photographs and my processing style.  This style defines Liisa Roberts Photography and is diluted when others alter the images I create.
