[SinglePic not found]MD, myself and my trusty hiking/kayaking partner, Amber set out on our first paddle trip out to The Moks. You know the two islets that have been a favorite subject in my photos since moving to Lanikai. We walked the kayak a quick block down and launched at our closest beach access. We noted that we should probably walk one access over to launch since the stone steps make it a bit more difficult!
I have to say, although we quickly paddled out, we did not explore completely, we stayed for about 30-45mins, and I did not have my Nikon (only my cell phone for photos) it has to be one of my favorite excursions. It was such a beautiful and clear day.
And finally to be able to look the in the opposite direction and see the view was breath taking. Myself, MD and my neighbor are kayaking out tomorrow morning again and I will have my camera. Well, I need to find a dry bag first.
Fantastic day, great workout, we saw only three sea turtles swimming but it was a bit choppy. A little more choppy than I would have wanted it but hey.. No incident. Mikko-Dakota loved the tide pools and picking up the baby crabs. I will post again once I add my images from my Nikon.
