I am fortunate to have been able to shoot two very amazing women during their pregnancies.  I thank them for their patience during our shoots.  I will upload a more complete album as I get through the edits at Maternity Gallery.

My focus with Amy and Dorothy were to capture more traditional images. I was able to explore some of my fanciful ideas during Amy’s shoot; however, I have not obtained permission to use those photos to date.  I am still very hopeful that Amy will let me post a couple.  They are beautiful, fun and quirky photos.   Let us hope that Amy might come around.    I will only described them as over the top, campy and fun.  I processed the images with retro fashion in mind.  (** Update, Amy allowed me to post.  Check out gallery.)

As I flip through my pregnancy photographs, my eyes soften and a warm peaceful smile gradually rolls across my face.  I seem to always remember the special moments during my pregnancy. I look forward to shooting more maternity photos; traditional as well as images that are off-beat. I hope my photographs will conjure images of my subject’s special moments during their pregnancies.

Moments when morning sickness suddenly disappeared and the women finally felt strong.  Or while the rest of the world was lost in deep slumber, the soft hushed moments together during the many bouts of insomnia.
